The VCS20-020-LB-12 voice coil positioning stage uses H2W voice coil motor NCC02-07-001-1R to generate a continuous/peak force of 2.0 lbs [8.9 N]/6.0 lbs [26.7 N] with a total stroke length of 2.0 in [50.1 mm]. The 12.0-micron resolution encoder allows for accurate positioning. It comes supplied with a recirculating ball linear bearing. The air fittings allow for the motor coil to be air cooled. The magnet housing is the moving part of the assembly so that there are no moving (flexing) cables in the system.
