multi-axis solution that uses direct drive linear motor technology and rotary-to-linear technology
The 3-Axis Linear-Theta Gantry is a positioning stage that consists of two parallel axis connected by a cross bridge (H-Bridge Gantry), a rotary axis (theta axis) mounted to the center of the cross bridge, and an independent separate parallel linear axis.

The entire stage is assembled using aluminum extrusion, thus reducing the overall size and weight of the system. Single extrusion length of up to 6 m long, allows for longer stroke applications. Each linear axis has non-contact 1-micron resolution encoders which allow for precise positioning. The moving tables are guided by a precision recirculating linear ball bearing system. The rotary axis is removable, which allows for higher accelerations by reducing the moving mass of the linear axis. There are also provisions that allow customer cables to be routed within the cable carriers. It has end-of-travel rubber bumper stops. A home positioning sensor, end-of-travel-sensors, and custom mounting holes on the moving tables are available upon request.

Features:
- Long horizontal travel
- Dual independent horizontal axis
- Rotary axis is capable of full 360 degree rotation
- Rotary axis can be easily removed or flipped upside down if needed
- Three axis of coordinated motion (combined linear and rotary displacement)
- Built using standard extrusion profiles
- Cable carrier to route customer payload cables
