High Force Voice Coil Positioning Stage

H2W introduces its highest force voice coil positioning stage to date. The voice coil positioning stage (VCS06-500-CR-01-MC) is a closed loop system that can be used for high force positioning applications. The stage is driven by an NCC moving coil type linear actuator and is guided by a high precision crossed roller linear bearing. The voice coil has a 0.64" [16.3 mm] stroke, generates 50 lbs [227 N] of continuous force and 150 lbs [681 N] of peak force. It includes a 1 micron resolution linear encoder. Voice coil positioning stages are ideal for applications that require quick, short moves with fast settling times.
